Callisto is an engineering company working in satellite communications.

Due to an expansion of its business, Callisto is seeking to recruit a Communications Engineer with experience in Digital Signal Processing related to satellite communicationsfor its team in Germany. The responsibilities of the selected candidate will typically include: monitoring ongoing projects, review design, attending testing sessions, specification of new system and/or upgrades, operations support.



As a minimum the candidate should have a high level University qualification in a relevant discipline, at least 5 years experience, knowledge of DSP techniques related to communications, preferably satellite communications.



In addition to the above, preference will be given to candidates having experience of:

Satellite ground stations for TT&C

Coding/decoding techniques

Modulation/demodulation techniques



Languages: English (reading, written, spoken) mandatory, French knowledge being considered as an asset.

Have good communications skills, analytical sense, self-organisation qualities.



EU National or a current valid work permit to work in an EU country.



The employment package includes supplemental insurance package contributed to by the company (health care, retirement and disability). Salary will be negotiated depending on experience and qualifications.
